"Access denied" for administrator
I have only my account (as my name and "Computer administrator") and Guest "Guest account is off". Even with that, I get "Access denied" when I try to delete "System Volume Information" (has two worms in archives according to my antivirus software). What is the next step up from "Computer administrator" that will get me even better access. I really want to be the boss of this thing, not the tail that gets wagged.1 person needs an answerI do too

System Volume Information is a protected operating system folder, and users can't delete it. It holds files created by System Restore . To delete the contents of System Volume Information , turn System Restore off , then turn it back on. That will delete all restore points, then create a new one.Note that infections in System Volume Information can't become active and harm the system unless you intentionally run System Restore and restore the system to a previous date/time.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
